Ralph Shattuck has collected Lugers since the age of fourteen, has an extensive Luger Collection of his own, and has been actively engaged in the buying and selling of lugers over the past thirty-five years. He has authored numerous magazine articles and has assisted in writing of several books. More recently he was one of four persons featured in TALES OF THE GUN about the Luger on the History Channel in JUNE 1999.
A patron member of the NRA, he also is life member of a number of collector organizations. He served with the U.S.Army in Korea in the early 1950's and is currently a deputy with Sheriff's posse in Maricopa county, Arizona.
